Vari-depth cardboard boxes are lightly pre-scored at certain heights enabling users to trim down the corners of the box and fold down the sides to create a cardboard box with a reduced depth.
The trimmed sides are used to provide a secure overlapping flaps over the top of the cardboard boxes. Vari-depth cardboard boxes are great for saving on cushioning and voidfill materials where some products don't fill the cardboard boxes, but others do.
